About this site

This site was built to make one specific thing freely available: a structured way to recognize the limiting beliefs operating beneath your life, and the specific behaviors they produce.

The questionnaires and the content are drawn from Harmonic Linguistics, a book and 90-day self-led program by Mike Goldstein. The framework maps seven core limiting beliefs — organized along three axes of the psyche — and the over- and under-compensation behaviors each belief tends to produce. The approach integrates perspectives from neuroscience, depth psychology, Hermetic principles, and somatic therapy, and it centers on the idea that language itself — the syntax beneath our sentences — is a primary architecture of the psyche.

About the author

Mike Goldstein is an author and independent researcher based in Maine. Harmonic Linguistics is his first published book. He is currently developing a second book applying the over- and under-compensation framework to gemstone archetypes, and a continuing-education module intended to teach the Harmonic Linguistics method to already-licensed clinicians.

Why this site is free

There is no catch. The quizzes are free. The belief pages are free. No email is collected. No account is required. You can take both quizzes, read everything on the site, and never encounter a signup form.

If the framework resonates with you and you want to do the full practice, the book and the supporting program are available at harmonic-linguistics.com. If it doesn't resonate, or if you found what you needed from the free material alone, that's equally good. The point of this site is recognition, not conversion.
